Bulgarian tourists have been sprayed with teargas in Bosilegrad in neighboring Serbia.
The Focus news agency reports that the group went for lunch at a restaurant when a group of Serbians with criminal records arrived and began spraying. The Bulgarians left in a hurry as they were chocking, while one young woman fainted.
There are two rumors spreading in Bosilegrad – that this was a deliberate attack on Bulgarians or retaliation against the owner of the restaurant over a turf war.
Police have arrived immediately and later arrested the perpetrators.
The tourists have returned back to Bulgaria.
