The Director of the Customs in the Black Sea city of Burgas, Valeri Stefanov, has been fired, the Customs Agency reported Friday.

Stefanov's Deputy, Kiril Dinev, and the Head of Post-Control Unit, Rostislav Yonev, have been fired as well, while the Head of the Energy Products Sector, Kalina Dimitrova has been demoted.

The four are accused of breaking the seals of electronic meters in the Rosenets petrol terminal port of the Lukoil Neftohim Burgas oil refinery.

This has prevented the National Revenue Agency, NRA, and the Customs Agency from receiving information about the volume of fuels in the storage warehouses.

The probe continues.

Ventsislav Haladzhov is temporarily in charge of the Burgas Customs. He was Deputy Head of the Customs in the Danube city of Ruse.

Lukoil have told the Bulgarian National Radio they had no comment on the report, on grounds no one has accused them of any breaches.
