Rising Meat Prices in Greece Force Consumers to Cut Purchases
A recent survey by the Consumer Agency has revealed that rising meat prices in Greece are forcing residents to limit their purchases to just twice a month
Some 30 migrant workers have been injured in a shooting on a strawberry farm in Greece after requesting salaries that had not been paid.
The mass shooting occurred near the village of Manolada late on Wednesday, about 260km west of Athens in the Peloponnese.
The migrants - mainly from Bangladesh - were shot at by at least one farm supervisor.
Several of the workers have been taken to hospital but none are in a critical condition, the BBC informs.
Greek officials have promising a "swift and exemplary" punishment for the violent attack, according to international media.
