The former and most recent Speaker of the Bulgarian Parliament, Tsetska Tsacheva, has spent a total of three months from her three-and-a-half-year term traveling across the globe.

The information was reported Sunday by the news agency BGNES, citing their own check under the Access to Public Information Act.

Tsacheva has been on 37 business trips abroad to Europe, Asia, South America and Africa, with the longest ones being to Brazil – 6 days, and to Japan – for over a week. Their cost was BGN 75 000, of which BGN 50 000 for plane tickets.

For her local trips, the Speaker of the Parliament has spent just BGN 4 000.
