Bulgarian capital Sofia has allocated a total of BGN 4.5 M (EUR 2.3 M) for the construction of new streets in the city.

Sofia Mayor Yordanka Fandakova has told reporters that the sum will be provided by the city’s street repair funds.

The construction of new streets will take place mainly in four districts – Manastirski Livadi, Malinova Dolina, Novi Iskar and Kremikovtsi – and is expected to be launched in May.
