Bulgaria Grapples with Soaring Corruption Rates: New Report Reveals Shocking Data
Corruption in Bulgaria has soared to its third highest peak in history, according to a recent report by the Center for the Study of Democracy
BBC Advertising, part of BBC Worldwide, the commercial arm of the BBC, has announced the appointment of Bulgarian Tina Maratilova as Account Executive - Central and South Eastern Europe.
Tina will be managing the relationship with clients in the Bulgarian market on top of supporting the regional sales team at the London office.
BBC Worldwide has not appointed a sales representative for Bulgaria yet, however building relationships and partnerships with the Bulgarian commersial and tourism sector as well as with the local media agencies is in Tina's short term plans.
"I am delighted to be working as part of the team at BBC Advertising, where I have the chance to work with BBC Worldwide's great brands and content at the same time as keeping professional links with my own country by working closely with businesses and other partners in Bulgaria," Tina Maratilova commented.
Tina joined BBC Advertising in January 2013 and manages the sales of BBC Worldwide's TV, online and mobile products into the Central and South-eastern European reagion. She is responsible for the regional advertising revenues of the global commercial news channel BBC World News, BBC.com, TopGear.com and LonelyPlanet.com portals and other mobile platforms.
