Bulgarian tennis hopeful Grigor Dimitrov eased past second seed and world No. 13 Milos Raonic at the Brisbane International Thursday.
The 48th-ranked Dimitrov had lost his only prior match with Raonic but handled the humid conditions on a packed Showcourt 1 better to book his place in the last eight.
The 21-year-old Bulgarian won all 26 of his first-serve points en route to a 6-3, 6-4 win.
Dimitrov will meet the winner of the match between Austrian seventh seed Jurgen Melzer and unseeded Belgian David Goffin.
