This fall and winter your wardrobe can include bold leather looks to sweet baby doll dresses. Try an equestrian look, complete with a fitted jacket and stretch jodhpurs. Wear a romantic blouse with soft ruffles and full skirt or a man's tie and crisp white shirt under a tailored pantsuit. Dress in easy kimono tops and jackets that are Asian inspired. Wear them wrapped and tied or loose and flowing. Follow the Latin beat in tight skirts with flared ruffled hems and boxy cropped jackets. Try a new corset belt, corset shaped top or skirt with attached corset waistline. Lace up corsets, pant legs, sleeves and necklines with leather or ribbon ties. Go Victorian, in delicate lacy tops and dresses with inserts and soft gussets. Puffed sleeves are new again, on feminine blouses, as well as on cropped jean jackets. Go classic in neat pulled together suits, pleated skirts with sweaters or comfortable pants and zip front jackets.
The fashionable colours include rich reds, dark wines and deep purples. They look great worn alone or mixed together for both day and evening dressing. Autumn shades of burnt orange, gold and brown are important for warm sweater knits, soft woollens and sueded fabrics. Although yellowed green shades are still popular, if you like to be fashion forward keep your eye on blue-green teal shades which are slated to be in the spotlight in the near future. Soft, lightened pastels look fresh when mixed with blackened darks. Black and white will continue to be a cherished duo. Black from head to toe is chic again, especially when worn in different textured mixes. Camel is the preferred neutral and looks classic mixed with chocolate brown or bright red. Red, white and blue will be worn with pride and is slated to be a winning combination.
