`Serbia unilaterally closed the border crossing at Vrushka Chouka and Strezimirovtsi to trucks, buses and minibuses, the deputy chief
of the Vidin Customs Administration as of midnight on August 15`, Ivan Ivanov, deputy director of the Vidin customs announced. All trucks, buses and minibuses travelling to Serbia can cross the border through the checkpoints at Bregovo (Vidin Region), and Kalotina. Only motor cars are allowed to cross the border through the checkpoints at Vrushka Chouka and Strezimirovtsi. `The Vidin Customs Administration has not been officially notified yet about the unilateral closure of the two Serbian crossings by the International Department of the National
Customs Agency`, he added. The Bulgarian Ministry of Transport and Communications has redirected the movement of trucks and buses, issuing new permits for crossing from Bulgaria into Serbia through the Bregovo checkpoint.
