Special police troops in the Bulgarian city of Plovdiv have canceled their professional holiday, as they will have to police a friendly football game between the teams of Botev Plovdiv and Vitosha Bistritsa, according to Mediapool.
Vitosha Bistritsa is the lower-tier team in which Prime Minister Boyko Borisov plays as a striker.
The special police troops in Plovdiv had scheduled a day of open doors dedicated to the day of Archangel Michael (or Michaelmas), the professional holiday of Bulgaria's police.
News website Mediapool has noted that Borisov will be playing football while the parliament is discussing the state budget for 2013.
The Bulgarian Prime Minister has been often criticized for spending too much time on football.
