Cooler weather is expected in Bulgaria as a Code Yellow alert is declared for 17 Bulgarian regions Monday.
The forecast is issued by the National Institute for Meteorology and Hydrology at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, BAS.
Code yellow means potentially dangerous weather, where the forecast is not for unusual meteorological events, but requires people to exercise caution.
Code Yellow is effective for the regions of Pleven, Veliko Tarnovo, Ruse, Razgrad, Silistra, Dobrich, Shumen, Varna, Burgas, Yambol, Sliven, Stara Zagora, Haskovo, Kardzhali, Plovdiv, Pazardzhik, and Blagoevgrad.
The cool front will bring some stronger winds and lower temperatures. Rain will arrive in the afternoon and evening in eastern Bulgaria while it will be mostly sunny in the west.
Temperatures are to reach anywhere between 30 degrees Celsius in western Bulgaria and 36C-38C in the eastern parts.
The weather on the Black Sea Coast will be mostly sunny. Temperatures will be between 33C and 35C degrees and 25-27C for the sea water.
