A Code Orange alert was declared once again for all Bulgarian regions on Wednesday.

The forecast is issued by the National Institute for Meteorology and Hydrology at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, BAS.

Temperatures are to reach anywhere between 34 and 39 degrees Celsius, (34-35 in the capital Sofia), with uncomfortable heat and muggy air.

The weather on the Black Sea Coast will be sunny with some short precipitations in the afternoon. Temperatures will be between 30 and 33 degrees and 26-29 for the sea waters.

Code orange means intense weather situations with potential damage, injuries and casualties.

People are advised not to venture outside, especially around noon and during the afternoon. Plenty of water is to be drunk.

The heat wave is expected to last at least until Sunday.
