A coalition government consisting of three parties is about to be formed in Serbia, with socialist leader Ivica Dacic, according to a media report.

On Thursday, Dacic is expected to receive a mandate from moderate nationalist President Tomislav Nikolic for the forming of the new government.

The government is expected to include the Socialist Party of Serbia and Nikolic's Serbian Progressive Party, the Bulgarian National Radio has reported. The report suggests that the country's Foreign Ministry will be handed to the United Regions of Serbia formation.

Serbian Progressive Party's Borislav Perevic is expected to become Defense Minister,

The Democratic Party of former President Boris Tadic will not enter the cabinet.
