The three employees that went missing after an ammunition depot exploded in Bulgaria on Tuesday are dead, according to Kalin Georgiev, Head Secretary of the Interior Ministry.
Georgiev stated that Tuesday's explosion has left a four-meter deep crater.
"The people inside stood no chances of surviving," he told reporters on Friday.
"Human remnants and biological material were found during the investigation, which means the outcome was fatal," he added, explaining that DNA tests will reveal the identity of the casualties.
Later on Friday, Georgiev will meet with the perished workers' families.
The relatives of the three workers have already declared intentions to sue the State over its slow search and rescue reaction.
On Tuesday, a series of blasts occurred at a private-owned ammo site near the Petolachkata road junction close to Sliven, injuring 9 people, two of them critically, all currently upgraded to stable.
Relatives of those who were injured from the explosion told journalists that people close to the owner of Bereta Trading company, which manages the depot, have pressured them to keep silent before the media and offered them money in exchange.
