No damages have been observed in the Southeastern Bulgarian roads as a result of the earthquake that jolted the region early on Tuesday.

The Bulgarian Road Infrastructure Agency has inspected bridges on the Lyulin highway and the stretch of the Struma highway that is between Daskalovo and Dolna Dikanya, finding no problems or damages.

Tuesday's earthquake had a magnitude of about 5.9-6.0 on the Richter scale and struck at 2:58 am Tuesday morning. Its epicenter was located about 6 km from the city of Pernik and some 26 km from Sofia.
