Bulgarian Police Bust 7 kg of Heroin at Romanian Border
Bulgarian Border Police have captured a 7 kg shipment of heroin at the Vidin border crossing point on Saturday.
A car with Bulgarian license plates driven by two Sofia residents aged 47 and 48 was intercepted when it was about to cross into Romania en route to Germany.
The Vidin Border Police and customs officers from Bulgaria's Lom discovered the drug in the battery of the car.
The seven brown packages of heroin had a total weight of 7 kg and 90 g. The two men have been arrested for drug trafficking.
