The Bulgarian Foreign Ministry calls on all sides involved in the Middle East conflict to stop violence and hostilities, urgently complying with the recommendations of the Mitchell plan for peace, the office of the Foreign Ministry`s spokesman said.

Thursday`s terrorist suicide bombing in Jerusalem which killed 18 and wounded scores of other people can compromise the efforts for achieving peace and stability in the region, the fax says.
Bulgaria expresses its conviction that attaining peace and stability in the Middle East is possible only by resuming peace negotiations and bringing them to a successful end in accordance with the UN Security Council resolutions, and within the framework of the process of Madrid.
Bulgaria, as well as the whole international community, expects that all countries in the region will show responsibility by putting an end to the tragic events and expediting the Middle East peace process, the fax says.
