One year ago on September 10 the twin towers of the World Trade Centre were standing for their final 24 hours, and nearly 3.000 totally unsuspecting people were living for their final day. Last minute preparations continue at the site of ground zero in New York, ahead of the first anniversary of the attacks that changed the world forever. A country and a world will come together to remember, and special ceremonies will be held throughout the day to mark the tragic events. While no decision has yet been made concerning an official memorial, the unofficial one at St. Paul's chapel continues to draw thousands of mourners. As a tribute to the thousands that died, St. Paul's will reopen to the public tomorrow after a year acting as a refuge for the thousands of emergency workers.
