KEY DEPUTY MINISTERS APPOINTED BY PM

Prime Minister Simeon Saxe-Coburg signed Friday the orders appointing the key deputy ministers, the Chief Secretary and Parliamentary Secretary of the Council of Ministers. The list of the deputy ministers is not final. The rest of the nominations are still subject to discussion. Sevdalin Mavrov was appointed Council of Ministers Chief Secretary; Gadar Hadjiyan will be the new Parliamentary Secretary. Meglena Kouneva, MP of the King`s movement, will be Bulgaria`s Chief Negotiator with the EU and Deputy Foreign Minister. The other Foreign Minister will be Petko Draganov. Elena Poptodorova will be Foreign Ministry spokesperson. Roumen Stoilov, Boiko Kotsev and Tonyo Zhelezchev were appointed Deputy Ministers of Internal Affiars, Sonya Yankoulova will take the position of Deputy Minister of Defence. Sevdelin Bozhikov and Mario Marinov are Deputy Justice Ministers, Krassimir Katev and Kiril Ananiev-Deputy Finance Ministers. Lyubomir Koumanov was appointed Deputy Minister of Healthcare. Deputy Ministers of Labour and Social Policy will be Hristina Velcheva and Valeri Apostolov. The newly appointed Deputy Economy Ministers are Lyubka Kachakova and Kaloyan Ninov, Manoela Georgieva and Krassimir Doukov are named Deputy Ministers of the Environment and Waters. The Prime Minister appointed Boiko Boev Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Forests, and Gancho Karabadjakov and Roumen Dimitrov-of Culture. The Regional Development Minister will have three deputies-Georgi Georgiev, Belin Mollov and Ivan Saev.
