Bulgaria Beats Belgium 2-0 in First Game for Euro 2004

Bulgaria's soccer team won over Belgium's team on Saturday evening with 2:0. Zoran Yankovich scored the first goal, followed by Martin Petrov in the 64th minute. This an impressive and successful start for Bulgaria's national team, being the first game from group VIII of the European qualifications. The game took place at King Baudouin stadium in Brussels. The Bulgarian win surprised the Belgians, and the 25,000 fans at the stadium.
