Bulgaria's national football team may have participated in a fixed friendly game against South Africa ahead of the 2010 World Cup that took place in the African country.
The Sunday Times of South Africa has claimed that Bafana Bafana's matches against Bulgaria, Thailand, Guatemala and Colombia may have been fixed by Singaporean Wilson Raj Perumal, who is serving a two-year jail term in Finland for fixing matches there.
