Promahon and Kulata Connected With Information System

Bulgarian and Greek customs will exchange information through new electronic system that will be launched in November. The director of Bulgaria's Customs Agency Assen Assenov and his Greek counterpart Vasilios Manolopoulus agreed the facility Friday at the Greek border checkpoint Promahon. The system aims at foiling smuggling attempts at Bulgarian checkpoint Kulata and Promahon on the other side. Assenov and Manolopoulus also discussed possibilities for joint training of Bulgarian and Greek customs officers.
