VICTORIA HOTEL PRIVATISATION CANCELLED

The Privatisation Agency cancelled the privatisation procedure for Hotel Victoria in the village of Ognyanovo, Gotse Delchev municipality. The procedure was re-opened on May 29, 2001, as one of the last decisions endorsed by the former PA CEO, Levon Hampartsoumyan, despite the ban imposed by the Supreme Administrative Court, demanding that all deals for the hotel be terminated due to the ongoing legal debate. Hampartsoumyan`s order did not even mention the exact location of Hotel Victoria, evaluated at BGN 1.76 M. The deal was cancelled after a publication an on the under-the-counter deal. Actually, the hotel is part of a complex, known for its healing hot mineral springs, with auxiliary facilities, fisheries, etc.
