A light earthquake was registered at 1:30 am Saturday in southern Bulgaria.

The information was reported by the European Seismology Center.

The quake was of a 2.2 points magnitude on the Richter scale with an epicenter located 18 kilometers west of the city of Haskovo and 57 km southeast of the city of Plovdiv, at a depth of 10 km.

There are no reports of injuries and material damages.
