Mobile users will now have the right to cancel their contracts with mobile operators without incurring any penalties if inflation indexation is announced
The left-wing oppositional Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) has gathered enough MP signatures to request a cancellation of the results of the October presidential election in the country.
Besides BSP MPs, lawmakers from the far-right Ataka (Attack) and the ethnic Turkish Movement for Rights and Freedoms have signed under the request, Mihail Mikov from the left-wing party has said, according to the BGNES news agency.
Numerous violations have motivated the oppositional parties to request the presidential election's cancellation, including the issue with the transparent ballots, the errors in the so-called "prohibited voter lists" which deprived eligible voters of the right to cast ballots, as well as Interior Minister Tsvetan Tsvetanov's appointment as head of the ruling centrist-right GERB's election campaign, Mikov has clarified.
The oppositional parties' cancellation request is to be reviewed by Bulgaria's Supreme Constitutional Court.
At the end of October, GERB's runner Rosen Plevneliev defeated BSP's Ivaylo Kalfin and became Bulgaria's president-elect.
