GREECE'S AMBASSADOR RAISED BGN 10,000 FOR SICK CHILDREN

Some BGN 10,000 for sick children were raised at a fund-raising ball, initiated and hosted by Greece's Ambassador to Bulgaria Michalis Christidis. Among the guests - about 100 - were ambassadors to Bulgaria, businessmen, Piritta Sorsa, Resident Representative of the International Monetary Fund, Dimitris Kourkoulas, Head of Delegation of the European Commission. The collected money will be used for the purchase of life-saving equipment at the specialized children's hospital for oncology treatment in Sofia. A fashion show, dinner with candles and the magical performances of famous clarinet player Teodosii Spasov and Viki Almazidu entertained the guests in the evening on August 31.
