Mild Earthquakes Recorded in Bulgaria
A moderate earthquake measuring 3 on the Richter scale occurred this morning near the town of Kaolinovo in the Shumen region
A 5.6 magnitude quake rattled Oklahoma late on Saturday after a day of smaller quakes in the region, slightly damaging buildings and buckling a highway.
Crews in central Oklahoma were out early Sunday morning assessing for damage, CNN reports. According to local authorities, at least three sections of U.S. Route 62 were buckled due to the strong earthquake.
No major injuries have been reported.
Saturday's earthquake is the largest ever recorded in Oklahoma, topping a tremor of 5.5 magnitude in 1952, according to the US Geological Survey.
