City of Toronto awarded the Bulgarian-born Ivan Kristoff with the original Spiderman costume as recognition for his contribution to the world of rescue. The city council had to pay USD 6,000 for the costume purchased from Sony Pictures. After Kristoff understood about that, he decided not to wear the costume but to donate the money to the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. "I think that the children need more than my five-minute appearance in the air in front of some of the most influential and richest people in Canada," Kristoff told novinite.com. He said that he preferred to wear the pilot uniform of the Bulgarian Aviation. Kristoff will perform as a special guest in the 10th Annual Lastman Invitational Golf Tournament, the largest of its kind in Canada, on September 3d and 4th.
