Bulgarian Manchester United forward Dimitar Berbatov is to be sold for GBP 12 M to French Paris Saint-Germain by January 2012, according to reports in French media Saturday.
Over the past months, there have been persistent rumors that PSG is among a string of European clubs vying for Berbatov, whose future in ManUn has been uncertain for about a year now.
According to Saturday's fresh reports, pressure on the part of the French club that it will withdraw its interest in Berbatov if a deal is not finalized by January has convinced the UK team to sell its top scorer for the 2010-11 season.
Berbatov himself has steered away from commenting on such reports, recently saying that he is still content with his situation in Manchester.
