The notorious self-proclaimed Roma Tsar Kiro, whose clan's impunity triggered unprecedented protests across Bulgaria over the last few days and who has been officially charged with tax evasion, bemoans his fate at a meeting with his friends from the government.

Tsar Kiro: Well, I am at a loss how to explain the origin of all my money and property! What shall I do?!!! Please help me!

Interior Minister Tsvetanov: Dear, brother, don't you have at least one mother-in-law?

*This joke appeared in the Bulgarian media, referring to a tax inspection from the beginning of the year, which did not find any discrepancies in the taxes and income of Bulgarian Interior Minister Tsvetan Tsvetanov but found discrepancies in the income of his in-laws. The tax authorities have not disclosed the exact nature of the discrepancies because of tax secret but the case led Bulgarian Prime Minister Borisov to ask a talk show host, "Do you know what taxes your mother-in-law pays?!" when the host asked Borisov to comment on Tsvetanov's tax situation.
