The Saturday evening flight from Bulgarian Black Sea city of Burgas to Finland's capital Helsinki has been cancelled.

According to the website of the Burgas Airport, more information on the cancellation of the Bulgaria Air flight is to be sought from tour operator Alma Tour.

Some 500 Russian tourists have already been stranded in Burgas after 3 flights to Russia were cancelled due to an alleged debt of Alma Tour to Bulgaria Air worth around EUR 3.5 M.

Some of them have returned to their Bulgarian seaside apartments, while the rest are housed in a hotel in Burgas at the expense of the tourist company.

A Russian vice-Minister has already arrived in Bulgaria to seek a resolution of the case.
