Business » TOURISM | September 10, 2011, Saturday // 10:20

There is no information when the some 500 Russian tourists whose flight from the Bulgarian Black Sea city of Burgas to St. Petersburg was cancelled will be able to return home.

The flights of the Russian tourists were cancelled Friday due to a EUR 3.5 M debt of their tour operator Alma Tour, to airline Bulgaria Air.

Some 200 tourists have returned to flats they own in the region, while the remaining 300 have been housed in the Bulgaria Hotel in Burgas.

The Alma Tour company have committed to covering the expenses of its tourists until the case is settled.
