Bulgaria's Dimitar Berbatov was left on the bench Sunday skipping Arsenal's humiliating 8:2 defeat by his team Manchester United.
The champions from United destroyed Arsenal at home with a hat-trick by Wayne Rooney. Ashley Young added two, and Danny Welbeck, Nani, and Park Ji-sung one goal each.
Arsenal's goals came from Theo Walcott and Robin van Persie.
Sunday's match marks Arsenal's worst loss in the history of the English Premiership.
