MILES: GOVERNMENT SHOWS SIGNS TO IMPROVE BUSINESS

US ambassador to Bulgaria Richard Miles met businessmen and farmers from the Zavet municipality, a region with ethnically mixed population. He talked with participants in a Peace Corps project for
renovation, employment and competitiveness. The current government shows signs it will do its utmost for both the foreign and native business in Bulgaria. What the business environment needs is less regulations, lower tax rates, and a more precise system. One of the urgent problems to be solved is building a better business system for settling controversies, Miles said.
