Bulgaria Expects 14% Growth of Tourists on Black Sea

According to estimates, 6.6 M tourists will have visited the Bulgarian Black Sea by the end of the season in August.

This means a growth of the number of tourists by some 14% with respect to their numbers in 2010.

According to the Institute for Analysis and Assessment in Tourism, at present the growth is over 10%.

In terms of nationality, increased numbers come mostly from Russia, Germany and Slovakia.

At the same time, the Institute notes that counting all the growth, some 70% of beds on the Bulgarian Black Sea remain empty.
