Internal debt to the commercial banks fell by 3.03% in the week to July 20 to a total of BGN 4.588 billion, Bluebull reported on Sunday. The decrease is attributed mainly to a lower value of the BGN-denominated component of the debt. The commercial banks have reduced their receivables from the government from BGN 162.6 million to BGN 111/3 million. The debt of the private sector is estimated at BGN 4.122 billion, up by BGN 9 million in week. The increase of the private debt was attributed entirely to an increase of the debts of private persons.
