The shooting of the New York scenes of the much anticipated Norwegian film "Kon-Tiki" in Bulgaria has delighted his directors, Espen Sandberg and Joachim Roenning.
"The 20 days we were shooting in Bulgaria were fantastic," the two directors told Dagbladet.no. They have shared pictures and videos of the set representing New York streets from 1946, which was built in Sofia's NU Boyana Studios.
Paal Sverre Valheim Hagen plays Thor Heyerdahl in the spectacular historical movie which is expected to come out in the fall of 2012. Its crew is currently shooting in Malta, where an exact copy of Heyerdahl's famous raft has been constructed.
