A light earthquake has been felt near the southern Bulgarian town of Razlog early Friday morning.

The information was reported by the European Seismology Center.

The quake was of a 2.9 points magnitude on the Richter scale with an epicenter, located 81 kilometers south of the capital Sofia and 10 kilometers northwest of Razlog.

The epicenter was at a depth of 10 kilometers.

There were no reports of injuries and material damages.
