Brit Lands Small Plane in Bulgarian Cemetery

A small plane piloted by a British citizen has made an emergency landing in a cemetery in Southern Bulgaria.

The two-seat plane landed in the cemetery of the village of Bogomilo near Stara Zagora, BTA reported. The British pilot and the other man on board were not hurt, BTA reported.

However, upon landing, the plane cut power lines leaving the entire village without electricity on Easter. The EVN power utility has sent emergency teams to fix the problem.

The Brit who piloted the plane is an experienced pilot without over 130 hours of practice. The most likely cause of the emergency landing is a problem with engine.
