In Stara Zagora, Bulgarian authorities apprehended a 35-year-old man who attempted to bribe traffic police with a BGN 20 banknote
Four minor earthquakes were registered in Southeastern Bulgaria late Monday night, announced the European Seismology Center.

The third earthquake hit near Topolovgrad at 9:19 pm; it had a magnitude of 3.1.
The fourth occurred further south near Svilengrad, almost on the Bulgarian-Turkish border at 10.47 pm; it had a magnitude of 2.9.
