A day of mourning has been declared in Bulgaria's central city of Gaborovo in memory of popular gymnastics coach, Lilyan Alexandrov.
Flags in the city are flying at half-staff Thursday.
57-year-old Lilyan Alexandrov was shot several times in front of his home on his way back from a meeting in the evening of March 21.
Alexandrov was Gabrovo coach of the year in 2009.
Two people were arrested in connection with the murder.
Police sources expressed frustration at what they saw an increased murder rate in a comparatively calm town as Gabrovo.
