Vucic: Flying Cars Could Be a Reality in Serbia by 2027
Serbia aims to introduce flying cars by 2027, according to President Aleksandar Vucic, who made the announcement during the World Economic Forum in Davos
The market of new cars registered a serious increase in the first two months of 2011, according to data from the Association of Car Importers in Bulgaria.
The data showed that 2822 new cars were sold in Bulgaria in January and February 2011, which is a 14% increase, compared to the same period of 2010.
The best sales record for this period was registered for Volkswagen. The dealers from Porsche Holding, which is the distributor company for Volkswagen in Bulgaria, have sold 363 cars from the German brand, which equal 13% of all the new cars sales for the period.
Toyota and Toyota Balkans hold the second place with 270 sales and 9.57% market share. The third place is for Ford and Moto Pfohe, which sold 241 new cars that make up for 8.54% market share.
Dacia and Peugeot hold the fourth and fifth place, respectively, with 240 sales (8.5% market share) and 200 sales (7.09% market share).
The first two months of 2011 also registered growth in the demand for buses and trucks. The total number of the sales was 147 and 56% of them were Mercedes.
A surprising increase in the sales of motorcycles was also registered in January and February. A total of 46 sales were made, 28 of which were for Peugeot.
