ECONOMY MINISTER TO HAVE FIVE DEPUTIES

According to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Nikolai Vasilev there will be five deputy ministers in the Ministry of Economy. Three nominations for the deputy ministerial positions -of Liubka Kachakova, Kaloian Ninov, and Sofia Kasidova will be proposed to Prime Minister Simeon Saxe-Coburg. Another candidate should be nominated by the Movement for Rights and Freedoms. During Kostov`s mandate the Ministry of Economy had four deputy ministers-Hristo Mihailovski, Lyubov Panaliotova, Ivan Ivanov, and Mariana Assenova. They were in charge of trade, European integration, industry development and tourism. The Deputy Prime Minister announced that the names of the new executive body of the Privatization Agency and the members of its Supervisory board would be known within few days. According to the Bulgarian legislation the Council of Ministers appoints the members of the executive body of the Privatization Agency and the political parties in parliament appoint the members of the Supervisory board.
