All four bidders for 80% stake in Bulgartabac are to supply more information on the parameters of their offers by answering about 84 questions till August 20, Minister Dikme said before the regular weekly Cabinet's meeting. After the answers are forwarded to the Privatisation Agency the working group on the privatisation of Bulgartabac Holding will decide whether to ask for sweetening the bidders' offers. The improvement of Bulgartabac offers is a complex issue and must be viewed as such, Agriculture Minister Dikme, said. He pointed out that the issue does not include only the price criterion. Minister Dikme recalled that under Bulgarian law one-off improvement in the offers might be asked. He said that not only the Movement for Rights and Freedoms, but nobody in the state wants Bulgartabac to be sold to an off-shore company. This, however, does not mean that Tobacco Capital Partners will be left out of the competition, he added.
