The area surrounding the international airport in Bulgaria's capital Sofia has been closed as authorities investigate a suspicious package detected on Friday afternoon.
Multiple law enforcement officials were on the scene and the area was sealed off.
The package, which was later found to contain a batch of knives and no explosive devices, triggered chaos and panic amond the travellers waiting at the airport.
