Bulgaria: New Light Earthquake Registered Near Bulgaria-Greek Border

A new light earthquake with a magnitude of 3.3 on the Richter scale was registered at 6:2 pm in the Bulgarian town of Petrich, near the Bulgarian-Greek border and 170 km from Sofia.

Earlier on Monday, at 12:39 am, another earthquake with a similar intensity, 3.1 on the Richter scale, occurred 9 km northwest from Petrich at a depth of 8 km.

So far, there is no information about injured people or material damages in the region as a result of neither of the earthquakes
