FIRE AT SOSSER SLIVEN RALLY LEAVES SERBIAN DUO INJURED

A Serbian team sustained injuries during the Sosser Rally in Sliven Southern Bulgaria as their Suzuki car caught fire August 3. The driver and the navigator are in the intensive care ward in the local hospital. The driver sustained 35 to 40 per cent second and third degree burns on his face, chest and legs. The navigator has 9 per cent second degree burns on his face and arms and his right calf is broken. Doctors are doing their best to stabilize their vital parameters. A Bulgarian navigator was left with a broken ankle after his VAZ 2107 drove into a mountain slope.
