JOURNALISTIC ETHICS CODE APPROVED IN BULGARIA

Ten rules which each journalist must keep were accepted at the annual meeting of the Bulgarian media Coalition in Borovetz, near Sofia. The rules are considered to be the future Code of Ethics of the media in the country. Media Coalition unites all Bulgarian media and is a unique organization of almost all media unions in the country. The participants in the annual meeting decided also to form a special group, which is due to propose changes in the existing media law in the country and to establish an annual award for developing free and independent media environment in Bulgaria.
