Bulgaria will be divided into six districts instead the current 28, Dimiter Kaltchev, newly appointed minister of state administration said today. It is the demand of the European Union also, he added. On the other hand we have now more important questions to discuss, but sooner or later we will do that, minister said also. It will be fourth administrative reform in the country within past 10 years. 17 out of 28 regional governors already resigned, as the Prime Minister appoints them and governors expressed their loyalty to the former government. No resignation is accepted yet, governmental sources said.
