Bulgarian PM Boyko Borisov along with members of his cabinet will pay homage to the recently renewed Gigintsi Monastery, near the Bulgarian-Serbian-Macedonian border.

The Gigintsi Monastery, named after the St. Anargyroi and Miracle-Workers Cosmas and Damian, and located in the Cherna gora mountain, has existed since the late Middle Ages

It was recently renovated with the help of the state and private individuals. The premises of the monastery, in which some half-dozen pay observance, were enhanced and a new church was built.

PM Borisov will attend a festive Sunday service at Gigintsi Monastery, accompanied by finance minister Simeon Djankov and diaspora minister Bozhidar Dimitrov, who of late have both somewhat assumed the role of patrons of churchly and spiritual matters in Bulgaria.
